Meghan Markle In Burberry, Wolford & Veronica Beard – Edinburgh Visit

Meghan Markle paid a visit to Edinburgh Castle along with Prince Harry on Tuesday (February 13) where she continued to demonstrate her knack for sophisticated separates.

In keeping with her penchant for dark, elegant silhouettes, she wore a Wolford turtleneck and Veronica Beard Resort 2018 trousers topped with a Burberry Spring 2018 coat.

It was a carefully considered ensemble as the coat is patterned with blackwatch tartan, which is traditionally the tartan of the infantry battalion of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

A Strathberry ‘East West’ crossbody bag, Birks jewels and Jimmy Choo ‘Luther’ booties added a subtle fashion-forward appeal to the long and lean shapes.

Overall, the outfit strikes a balance of being graceful with a nod to current trends and British designers. If I must critique anything, it is the trousers could be a hair shorter.
