Solid & Striped ‘Swim Team’ Launch Dinner Party

Solid & Striped hosted a party for its new ‘Swim Team’ campaign in New York on Tuesday (February 6). Naturally, many of the leggy lovelies who feature in the campaign were on hand to celebrate the swimwear.

Jourdan Dunn: Saturated hues were a big element of the Solace London Spring 2018 collection, and this marigold asymmetrical dress is a perfect example. With her smoky eye, the sensually draped dress was a smoldering look for the model. However, I especially love that she took it a step further and wore fuchsia Aquazzura ‘Simply Irresistible’ pumps along with Jennifer Fisher statement earrings and a Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Gracie’ clutch.

Lily Aldridge: A sultry, red-hot vibe was alive and well in this plunging Brandon Maxwell Spring 2018 rolled-collar jumpsuit that likewise oozed with classic sophistication in its clean lines. The matching red lip was the cherry on top.

Nina Agdal: The Gianvito Rossi ‘Isabella’ over-the-knee boots might have overcooked the look—merely because their black hue seemed a strangely intense counterbalance to the lighter colourways of her Balmain double-breasted mini and blush handbag, which nearly took on sweeter connotations give her rosy makeup and ponytail.

Natasha Poly: Also in a monochromatic jumpsuit, Natasha’s white halter version was sleek and pristine with the black tassel bag added as a point of drama.

Toni Garrn: The black mini put some sexy sass appeal into her taupe blazer and nude sandals.

Hailey Clauson: I like how Hailey put her own spin on menswear dressing to stay away from the more standard formula. The longer tuxedo jacket styled with a white T-shirt and sparkling trousers had a chic edge.

The models who feature in the campaign are as follows: (from left to right) Natasha Poly, Eniko Mihalik, Carolyn Murphy, Hailey Clauson, Elsa Hosk, Jessica Hart, Jourdan Dunn, Josephina Skriver, Lily Aldridge, Toni Garrn, Hannah Ferguson, Isabeli Fontana, and Barbara Palvin.

The campaign was shot on location in the Bahamas by Bjorn Iooss, and was styled by Carine Roitfeld.

The collaboration includes bikinis, one-pieces, and asymmetrical silhouettes. Prices range from $168 for a one-piece and go up to $176 for a bikini set.

You can purchase the pieces from Solid & Stripe, MATCHESFASHION.COM, NET-A-PORTER or Shopbop.com.
