‘Black Panther’ World Premiere Menswear Roundup

There were plenty of men in the mix at the star-studded world premiere of Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ on Monday (January 29) in Hollywood, California.

Chadwick Boseman: He plays the title character in the film, and his Emporio Armani Spring 2018 look was indeed royal. I love the relaxed-regal approach of the double-breasted metallic floral jacket styled with Christian Louboutin ‘Cyprien’ boots’ and David Yurman accessories.

Donald Glover: Go bold or go home. Leave it to Donald to positively command an orange power suit. This stylized Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 design was loud and proud in all the right ways—from the panther-esque printed shirt, to the monogrammed, embroidered badge with his initials on the jacket, and right down to the slipper shoes.

Daniel Kaluuya: I like that Daniel wore a traditional Ugandan kanzu to the red carpet, styling the formalwear with a burgundy Burberry Soho blazer, Christian Louboutin loafers, and David Yurman accessories.

Kumail Nanjiani: Attending the premiere with wife Emily V. Gordon, the comedian looked sharp in a tailored, plaid Etro suit.

Michael B. Jordan: Michael never disappoints, nor did he here in this monochromatic Calvin Klein double-breasted suit. The little details are what made the look even more of a standout, with the collar tips, a Piaget watch, and the embroidered Christian Louboutin ‘Souledrapo’ loafers.

Sterling K Brown: Keeping it sleek, the ‘This Is Us’ actor cut a cool profile in this La Perla suit paired with a turtleneck. When I see a monochromatic look such as this, it’s a reminder of how much personality Sterling really brings to the table, stylizing the look with Christian Louboutin ‘Mortimer’ monk strap shoes and David Yurman accessories—plus what are becoming signature shades for him.

David Oyelowo: The actor also brought African heritage to the evening’s purple carpet in this colourful patterned look accessorised with a Montblanc watch and embroidered Louboutin loafers.
