Jennifer Hudson In Rubin Singer – Grammy Salute To Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z

Jennifer Hudson took to the red carpet before her performance at Clive Davis’ annual GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons which honored Jay-Z on Saturday (January 27) in New York City.

Offering a rich redux of motown’s disco-ready style, the singer wore a Rubin Singer bronze sequin gown styled with jewels from Butani, MARLI NYC and Djula.

If high shine and high glamour was her red carpet M.O. for this event, she nailed it.

I filled my quota of likeable brown dresses with Nicole Kidman at the SAG awards. I’m back to not liking this colour.

Risky as this dress could be on a fuller figure, thanks to the shoulder area and the whole hair+make-up, she rocked it.

The random splotches look really odd. Looks diseased.

Didn’t even look at the dress………..neck up is outstanding, absolutely amazing; kudo to the person or team of people who did her beauty look

It’s not treating her figure right and it’s more brown than bronze…not lighting my fire tbh.

I like this dress on her. The colour and fabric is interesting and her styling pulls it together.

Ugly splotchy dress. She usually gets it wrong…always skin tight dresses
