DuJour Celebrates Winter Cover Star Diane Kruger (in Mugler)

DuJour’s Jason Binn threw a party at Vnyl on Thursday (January 25) in New York City to celebrates winter cover star Diane Kruger.

As we all know Diane had a rollercoaster ride when it comes to her red carpet style in 2017 (with more ups than downs I have to point out), so when I see this Mugler Spring 2018 look I’m reminded of why I love her style.

At the core of this look is smart trouers with a casual vest top, yet the structure of the trousers and the corseted belt take it into high-fashion, almost avant-garde territory which I simply adore.

Now that’s good dated. I don’t feel the necklace but the rest gives me 80s supermodel vibes.

Hmm I love the outfit but am lukewarm on the styling. Take off the necklace, add a matte red lip.

This is okay. I like some differentiation between footwear and the clothing. Silver boots like on the runway would have been much better.

I love the belt, the pants and the boots are OK but I don’t like the top, it would have been better with a light jumper or a shirt.
