Tessa Thompson In Belstaff & Solace London – IMDb Studio & ‘Sorry To Bother You’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Tessa Thompson continued her rounds at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday January 20.

In the IMDb Studio, Tessa wore a Belstaff Spring 2018 look with Wolford tights and Alchimia Di Ballin ‘Nix’ booties. The editorial look would fall flat in most real-life settings, so Tessa was wise to chose it for somewhere as artistic as Sundance. Adding the metallic silver booties is inspired and shows just the right amount of fashion prowess.

At the premiere of her film ‘Sorry to Bother You’, Tessa wore a look from the Spring 2018 Solace London collection complete with Solace London earrings, paired with a Christian Louboutin ‘Ruby Lou’ bag and Louboutin ‘Who Runs’ boots. Sometimes, it’s wise to follow a runway look exactly, but here Tessa is proof of when it’s good to stray: By adding the black turtleneck under the flowing off-the-shoulder top, this look is elevated to all new heights, and it’s fabulous.

Nope to both. The first is major dowdy.
The second is fussy and not especially flattering.

I don’t like the skirt of the first; I wish it was a pair of pants. It would look less dowdy. The second looks kinda cool.

These looks show the downside of the need to always be fashion forward. Both are just too much and overdone with a very forced “wannabe different” feel.

    Both ugly.

Ugh. Hate both looks. The first one looks like she going to the royal fox hunt.

I really like the first look.

Just… no. Both looks feel overdone and heavy.

I agree. Both also feel very forced.
