Jaimie Alexander In Christian Siriano – 2018 Producers Guild Awards

Jaimie Alexander also attended the 2018 Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20).

The actress wore a dropped-waist black and navy Christian Siriano gown from the designer’s Spring 2018 collection and a few diamond jewels.

Dropped waist gowns automatically bring an extra level of drama, but combining that with the panels of tulle and the contrasting black and navy has truly given Jaimie a moment.

I love that no necklace was worn, as it helps lean the whole look into the ballerina vibe, but by wearing her hair down, Jaimie and her glam squad kept it from reading too trite.

I don’t know what it is that bugs me about this look, that keeps me from falling over myself to say how amazing she looks. Thing is, she does look great, the fit is perfect, the colours are great on her, the silhouette is beautiful – so why am I not swept away by this? I don’t know, she still looks great though.

SHe is gorgeous, but there are much better ballgown iterations.

This so does NOT suit her aesthetic. Its a childish dress to my eyes and I deeply dislike this.

I like the design but seems OTT for the event and I’m not crazy about navy and black together.

There were better, more event-appropriate dresses out of this collection.

Her face is gorgeous, but I’m not a fan of the gown and think it’s too much for this event.

I agree. It seems to look much better in motion. I love it on the look book pic, but not on her so much.

I think she looks really beautiful here, I like her minimal styling.
