Front Row @ Dior Homme Fall 2018

Some of Dior’s most dashing and fashionably daring fans were in attendance at the brand’s Dior Homme Fall 2018 show, held on Saturday (January 20) during Paris Fashion Week.

Robert Pattinson: Monochromatic black proved far from boring on Robert, who cut an impossibly cool profile by wearing a Dior Homme leather bomber jacket over his Dior Homme suit. I love the slightly rebellious effect it provided. A black cotton tee and black leather derbies completed the look.

Bella Hadid: Speaking of style rebels, look no further than Bella who walked on the wild side with Dior Homme’s ‘New Look’ jacket and pants featuring an all-over tribal print. Her silver sunglasses and bandana echoed the same print, with the exposed bra adding her signature side of sexiness. I know those red, fluorescent yellow and white techno sneakers may be a marmite addition to the look, but I was a fan of their unexpectedness.

Future: Rocking the same sneakers that again shone like a beacon on an all-black look, Future paired his with a Dior Homme shiny-effect leather bomber jacket styled over a wool turtleneck and wool pants. The metal round sunglasses added even more attitude.

Jhene Aiko: I love the graphic nature attained by the red polka dots in this Christian Dior Spring 2018 broderie anglaise cotton dress styled with a red crepe georgette shirt. A ‘J’Adior’ bag and Dior shoes completed the look.

Big Sean: The statement sneakers make another cameo here, again complementing a primarily monochromatic look—except this ensemble was highlighted by the added impact of the red-and-white accents on this Dior Homme jacket with nylon bomber sleeves and the red-and-white windowpane embroidery on the pants. I like the boost of edgy personality delivered by the pin with resin dice and wood beads along with that black leather cord necklace with silver-tint metal skull beads.

Charlie Plummer: Black was indeed the colour of the day, but I loved all the little details that made the looks stand out—like this ‘Signature’ hand-stitched buttonhole on this Dior Homme wool coat, styled with a black cotton tee, trousers, and those techno sneakers—sans the red accent colour, this time.

Metro Boomin: Like Big Sean, Metro Boomin presented an urban look with his Dior Homme black nylon jacket featuring rose patches on the sleeves and paired with a matching ‘Dior Roses’ patched shirt. Black denim jeans along with white leather and red technical fabric sneakers completed the look.

Josh Hartnett: Josh may have been the most traditional of the bunch, but that doesn’t discount the classic appeal of his Dior Homme black wool coat and dress slacks styled with a white cotton shirt with silver studs and shiny calfskin leather boots.
