Vogue Spain’s Dinner For Victoria Beckham

Vogue Spain hosted a dinner to celebrate their February cover girl Victoria Beckham, with a dinner party held at the Santo Mauro Hotel on Thursday (January 18) in Madrid, Spain.

Victoria has been embracing colour for a while now, but I’m still astounded to see her select this striking bold red hue.

The silk-crepe dress, which of course hails from her Spring 2018 collection, is cut to a loose silhouette with a hint of Victoriana imbued via the ruffle collar.

I love how the lilac pumps breathes extra life into this plush posh look, but, as always, I wish she would go lighter on the eyeliner.

Love the lilac pumps. I like the dress better on the model but that could be because of that infernal pose Beckham has never outgrown.

I like the dress, not so much the covers. The shoes, however, are dreadfully wrong with it.

Nicely done, I like her choice of contrasting color pumps.

I don’t like the dress particularly, but I do think it suits her very well and she carries it just right. Like others, I’m a bit confused by the lilac pumps, but I’ll definitely give her kudos for effort and stepping out of her comfort zone! I can’t remember seeing her experiment much with fashion before, so I’m totally encouraging this!
Also, I for my part really like the first magazine photo, I think it looks very regal and kind of reflects her aesthetic. The second does look kind of unnatural…

The dress is fine. Nice red. quite prim though. The shoe color I just don’t get at all. Its silly.
The cover pictures are so awful. The poses are ridiculous.

And why won’t Nuclear Wintour give Posh an American Vogue cover?

don’t like the lilac shoes but the dress is fab. Someone has to explain to me why a fashion designer poses for a magazine cover in her underwear? I don’t get it.

Great colour, great shape, great shoe. I’m just going to pretend I didn’t see the make up and say I love this.

The makeup is all wrong but the dress is quite pretty. I love a contrasting shoe but this purple seems a little off next to the red.

the dress is lovely, especially the vibrant red.

Agree about her make up. Way to strong.

I like the contrasting shoes in principle, but find the chosen colour too distracting…
