Helen Mirren In Valentino & Alice + Olivia – ‘The Leisure Seeker’ New York Screening & SiriusXM

Helen Mirren has been busy promoting ‘The Leisure Seeker,’ first attending the New York screening on Thursday (January 11) then paying a visit to SiriusXM on Friday (January 12).

‘The Leisure Seeker’ New York Screening: This Valentino Resort 2018 gown might cover up her enviable figure, but the silver embellishment enhances her shape in a dynamic, surrealist way. A Judith Leiber clutch and Valentino heels finished things off.

SiriusXM: Many are fatigued with the sheer trend, but perhaps they will feel differently when they see the legendary actress doing it. The Alice + Olivia Resort 2018 skirt was previously worn by Olivia Wilde. Helen gave the feminism-promoting style an edgy spin with the motorcycle jacket and boots and an unexpected pop of pink. I could see her wearing the entire lookbook version, but I am so glad she went in this direction. It’s cool and chic.

That second look is tacky and trashy. No.

    No & no. Disappointing.

Wow…never thought I’d see Helen Mirren’s panties on the RC

      + infinity!

I wouldn’t wear either looks myself but I love them on her! Style can be about so much more than the actual outfit.

Argh, the second I would of loved on her had it been lined. It really lowers the look by seeing her panties. That is not how I EVER want to see the ‘legendary actress’.
The first is nice. Interesting pattern.

      +1

Yes to the first. No to unlined skirts on Helen Mirren. I’m sorry but I can’t shake the discomfort when I look in that region.

Whoa. A sheer skirt I don’t hate?!? I still would have preferred it to be lined but I’ve got to hand it to the Dame.

I love Ms. Mirren but the bodice on the Valentino looks weird to me and I don’t need to see her granny panties, thank you very much. Had she lined the skirt, the second outfit would be the bomb

  10. EmmaWoodhouse January 15, 2018 at 16:18 #

I would really like both looks if she’d lined the skirt.

No to both of these. I like the idea of the Valentino but I don’t think it fits well. It looks heavy and droopy. The second just looks silly on Helen Mirren.

well go ahead Miss Helen! I wanna be like her when I grow up, I adore both looks mostly because of her boldness.
