Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – Marie Claire’s 3rd Annual Image Makers Awards

Emma Stone stepped out for Marie Claire’s 3rd Annual Image Makers Awards on Thursday (January 11) in West Hollywood, California.

The actress’s Golden Globes dress proved to be underwhelming, so hopefully you will be more enamored with this Louis Vuitton gown.

I am a bit saddened as I know there is more potential here.

The gathered details on the bodice created a unique shape and exposed a black side panel.

What visually drags the look down is the black bow with the too-long tails.

I like what’s happening from the waist up, but the jarring detail prevented this from being a win for me.

It doesn’t look good at all.

I love her hair but the makeup isn’t good and the dress is meh but for the color. We need a win, Emma!

I love the color against her skin

This is really limp and lacklustre all round, very disappointing. Agree with the others about red eye makeup, it needs to dies now, before it becomes trend to end.

Feels lacklustre and usually her hair and makeup are flawless but I’m not feeling them on this occasion.

Another bad LV dress. The red eye makeup trend really needs to go away.

I already know that my Trend to End for the 2018 year end round up is going to be red eye makeup. I loathe the look.

Another victim of red eye makeup. Where will the devastation end?

This is bad, really bad for Emma. The makeup is just awful and I’m surprised because Rachel Goodwin was being honored at this event and like Chris said, she’s an excellent makeup artist in general. To be honest I started having issues with Emma’s makeup when she went blonde, I think that they’re pushing the warm/red tones a little too far

Hmm. The gown is alright-ish. Something is off about the silhouette. What really puts me off here is her make-up. What is happening?? She has been working with the same make-up artist forever and her beauty looks always used to be on point, but this, I don’t get.

    1. The makeup. Just… I feel like Emma’s makeup artist hasn’t been doing her justice in a while.
    2. The hairstyle. This dress needed an updo.
    3. Her posture ??? I can’t figure out if the dress creates a bad illusion or Emma is hunched over. The reason I’m not sure is because Emma usually has great posture on the red carpet.

    1. The colour of the dress.
