Emilia Clarke In Michael Kors & Elie Saab – The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party & HAITI RISING Gala

Following the AFI Awards, Emilia Clarke was back on the red carpet with two more looks on Saturday (January 6).

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party: The English actress was every bit the English rose wearing this floral fitted sheath dress from Michael Kors Collection. I do like Emilia’s style, but I can’t say I have ever loved a look, but this I love. Not only does it feel so right and proper for the occasion, but I love the mix of colours, the retro 50s vibe and the dainty styling which included a Roger Vivier ‘Viv Cabas’ top-handle bag and Irene Neuwirth jewels. She nailed this look from head to toe.

7th Annual Sean Penn & Friends HAITI RISING Gala Benefiting: When we think of Elie Saab; embellished gowns spring to mind, but this Spring 2018 button down blouse and floor-sweeping skirt goes against the grain. I adore the simplicity, charm and effortless of it all. My first thought was that she’s channeling her inner Uma Thurman/Sharon Stone here, as I can picture both of them wearing this look also.

I love these two looks but the Elie Saab is by far the most stunning look on her. L❤️VE!

I LOVE the first one so much.
The second one is lovely, the hair is aging, though.

The hair in the firs pic is surprisingly job well done but in the second one we have a major a disaster which makes her look like her grandmother or … Carolina Herrera. Both outfits work on her, but still she needs to ditch her stylist.

Three flattering and fun looks in a row. It’s got to be record for Emilia who is so very hit and miss in her choices. I hope it continues because she is truly gorgeous and deserves to shine.

I enjoy both these looks. I find it hard to like her style usually but these two are pretty. Love the first dress, its just delightful. The second, color and vibe is really suiting her.

    Both looks are pretty!

Wow! She looks great! I like both looks!

The hem looks not so well done, but the 1st one is totally charming, perfect for the tea party, loving the colors, the print, the styling. And I’m loving the 2nd too, she looks fab.

Don’t like any of these looks.

The 1rst one is overthought and she looks a bit “constricted”. Clearly, it’s a look for a more mature woman.
She looks much better in the Ellie Saab, more relaxed, and thus more elegant.

Im thinking on Renee Zellweger for the 1rst look.

Thought the same about the first one, although the colours are winning me over.

Much better in the Elie Saab, “more relaxed, and thus more elegant” sums it up perfectly.

I love the first look from head to toe actually.
As for the second look, someone said it reminded her of Carolina Herrera and I had the same first impression, I find the hair color here really bad for her and the look is very aging.

The first look is a little bit too much for me, too lady.
I love the second look. It’s gorgeous on her and it would have been perfect with her real hair color.

Her Elie Saab reminds me of Carolina Herrera, she looks great

Sweet Mother of Dragons! Love the Elie Saab!

  15. Dana January 7, 2018 at 16:14 #

I love the Michael Kors look, but the hair and makeup on the Elie Saab look are giving me matronly Joan Crawford vibes

  16. Fanny January 7, 2018 at 16:05 #

I like both looks a lot, but the Elie Saab i love. She looks amazing in red.

I really like both dresses and the classic primness here. I’m not sure about how I feel about the white accessories with the first look but I think it’s working.

The Michael Kors is perhaps the best she has ever looked. The Elie Saab is beautiful but a bit matronly on her.
