Salma Hayek In Gucci – 29th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival

I have always maintained that custom Gucci works best for Salma Hayek, and I feel that was proven at the 29th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Tuesday (January 2) in Palm Springs, California.

The actress looked radiant in her alluring green lace gown featuring a trompe l’oeil bow at the waist.

While bringing a sense of playfulness to the look with her presentation of the gown, the overwhelming feeling was sensual.

I’m praying she stays on this glorious path.

The dress is dated, but the green is nice

So gorgeous! The color, the sensual hair and silhouette, and I’m loving how the playful pink bow accents the look, she looks so beautiful!

Love this,it’s very early Alessandro Michele at Gucci, less wacky, which suits Salma

Not liking the belt – I wish she wore a sleek gold belt instead. But other than that she looks great.

Delightful. She looks radiant. Love the color for her. Ya the bow was not necessary or wanted but I accept this overall anyhow. Its a good one for her.

Wow this is glorious, love the “belt” detail too, the fit is perfection!

Finally, a Gucci that suits her! I think a solid burgundy belt would have been better with the green but I love the romanticism and elegance of this overall look.

I had promised myself I’d refrain from posting my dislikes but it seems it’s easier said than done…
Other than the colour I don’t really like this. Design wise it’s a big piece of meh. One can call it “recontextualization” , I bluntly call it “copy and past”

I agree with you here. I am not feeling any love for this look.

I actually learn quite a lot about commenters’ dislikes.

She looks good, the bow belt was not necessary though.

I agree. The bow belt is way too twee. A regular belt and this would be perfection on her and the best she’s looked in a long time.

Gorgeous! I love the color and it’s actually flattering. If only the “Salma in Gucci” results would always look this good.
