Happy New Year

Happy New Year.

Welcome back. It’s so good to be back after the Christmas holidays, especially with two months of non-stop glamour ahead of us for awards season, starting this Sunday with the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. I’m intrigued to see the black dress code in action.

I’m going to have my eye on Margot Robbie (‘I, Tonya’), Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird) and Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird), during awards season, especially Margot, considering you feel she has much to prove this awards season.

I’ll also be excited to see any newcomers emerge this year, as we saw so many raising stars make an instant impact on the red carpet in 2017.

Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Donatella Versace will be hosting the ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’ 2018 Met Gala, which has the potential to be very interesting if the attendees embrace the theme and be creative.

May is always my favourite month because of Cannes Film Festival. Will anyone be able to out do last years Cannes Queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan?

The other major event to look forward to in May is Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry.

I personally can’t wait for Lupita Nyong’o’s ‘Black Panther’ promo tour to start. I’m expecting plenty of colours and an array of hairstyles.

I’m also excited to see Scarlett Johansson, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff and Elizabeth Olsen for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Dakota Fanning, Sarah Paulson and Katie Holmes for ‘Ocean’s 8’.

Dakota Johnson and Rita Ora for ‘Fifty Shades Freed’.

Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Sophie Turner for ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’.

Emily Blunt for ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ and ‘A Quiet Place’ and Taraji P. Henson for ‘Proud Mary.’

Also, it has come to my attention that Lady Gaga will be promoting ‘A Star is Born’ this year. Will she go full gaga or Stefani Germanotta?
