Who Wore Ports 1961 Better? Chadwick Boseman or Wei Daxun?

It’s not often we have a menswear WWIB?, yet here we have Chadwick Boseman and Wei Daxun wearing the same Ports 1961 Fall 2017 suit within weeks of each other.

Chadwick made the look his own at the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ LA premiere, whereas Wei opted for the full runway look last night for the Harper’s Bazaar 150th anniversary exhibition in in Shanghai, China.

While Chadwick acquires many kudos points, I love the suaveness the look possesses with the turtleneck, so Wei wins for me.

I love the look with the turtleneck. As much as I can appreciate the laid back vibe Chad was going for, the wrinkled shirt is no bueno,

Wei Daxun is sleeker, better. Chadwick at the very least needed to fasten the top button of his jacket to keep the presentation sharper.

Daxun, because I don’t like how Chadwick’s shirt looks whereas I think the turtleneck really suits the sleekness of the jacket.

Chad for me, he has more swag. Wei doesn’t bring any personality into it.

Wei, because the fit is better on him and the overall look is crisper/neater. It looks a bit too big on Chadwick.

Male celebs almost never wear distinct looks for us to recognize and play the ‘who wore it better’ game. Or else you could list all the male attendees of an even where they’re all wearing the exact same basic male uniforms – suits/tux.

Anyway this look is probably the most subtle as distinct looks can be. Just that patch on one side. Both of the men are trying to highlight it by keeping the rest of the outfit all black. Wei Daxun who wore it like on the runway looks sliiiiightly better imo.
