Daisy Ridley In Calvin Klein – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ London Premiere

Daisy Ridley was the lady of the hour for the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ premiere held at the Royal Albert Hall in London this evening (December 12).

The British actress wore a Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring 2018 nylon dress in classic black.

With a one-shoulder neckline, this asymmetric dress is as chic and refined as it is modern and relevant.

Some may be disappointed with this offering or make comparison to a household item which lines a bin, but I love the unpredictability of this bold outing. I’m totally sold.

Custom Christian Louboutin ‘Rey’ strass and PVC sandals – inspired by the Daisy’s character – completed her look.

This is basically a plastic bag dress…..with more plastic on her feet. OK but no thanks

The shoes really throw this off for me.

I feel like this is in diy Halloween territory. It’s wrinkled and overly shiny, all I can see is an expensive bin liner.

I don’t love the creases in the skirt. Wish it were more crisp.

I agree. It’s not a good look, but it could have been a little bit better.

It’s a tricky dress and I think she pulls it off, but I wish she’d left out the choker detail.

I love this look on her and it ties in with the event without veering into costume territory.

I kinda love it, tbh. It also looks better on other photos imo.

I’ll pass. And I honestly don’t think that pvc shoes are anywhere near comfortable. I dislike them so much, on so many levels.

+1, ugh. Disappointing as were the other looks on this red carpet.

Horrible look. Everything about this whole look is just….a big NO. Ugly dress, blah shoes, terrible hair and makeup.

I can’t stand the fabric. so ugly. The styling is off too. The shoes don’t work with this and the hair is a no.

+1 and the shoes are so bad.

      Oh yes!

I like that it’s not a star print and not so literal on theme. I don’t think the loose tendrils fit with the modern feel of the dress and the pvc shoes I’m not a fan of.

The silhouette is a good one for her, but the styling makes this a miss. The hair in particular is making me dislike this look.

I don’t particularly love the way it sits on her chest and her waist or the wrinkles but I like this look. Love the makeup, the styling and the cut of the dress I just wish it fit better and the material looked more like leather.
