Tessa Thompson In Solace London – ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ LA Premiere

If you thought the sequin dresses were all-too predictable for the ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ premiere on Saturday (December 9) in Los Angeles, Tessa Thompson was serving up a different brand of space-age glamour.

Opting for bold colours, a heady mix of fabrics and boxy shapes, I have to say I love the unpredictability of the look followed by the ’60s-style accessories.

You have to possess a certain level of panache and confidence to pull off such a look, which thankfully Tessa has in spades.

Love or loathe?

I can not tell you how happy I am that ultra violet is Pantone’s 2018 color of the year. Love the color combo. The shoes are ridiculous but I love them with this look.

I really really love this outfit, it’s incredibly fashion forward and she wears it fantastically, I really just don’t think its enough for the premiere of one of the biggest movies in the world, guest or not

    I just canNOT.

The shoes are interesting in concept but I find them ugly. The rest of the outfit I like, It’s fun and cool being appropriate for a guest at this type of premiere.

O no. Those shoes are just horrendous. The vinyl pants are even more horrendous. I like the pink top and thats about as far as I go.

I’m very intrigued by it and kinda love it, while at the same time I’m not 100% sure about the color combo and event appropriateness.

I’m not into this look. I think the trousers and the shoes look slightly ridiculous and it is not event appropriate.

I’m in the middle. I neither love nor loathe it. The outfit looks good on Tessa and is a modern interpretation of 1960s style that works, but not for a premiere. The shoes are horrendous.

I love it. I haven’t been this intrigued by a look for a while.

It shouldn’t work…but it does somehow! Some people have the coolness to wear even the oddest outfits and she is one of those lucky people imo

I really don’t have a good opinion on this outfit so I’ll just say I love the color of her top, gorgeous color

      +1 , except I don’t even like the colour too #lipsealed

I’m on the middle line. I love how the accessories remit my mind to Pierre Cardin and even Courreges and although I like the mixing of materials and textures, I’m not a fan of the colour combo ( yellows aren’t my thing).

I don’t know if this is the best look for a premiere but she looks so cool and fresh.

      Definitely love!
