Shu Qi In Elie Saab Couture – 54th Golden Horse Awards Ceremony

Aside from Jessica Chastain, there were plenty more princess moments to be had at the Golden Horse Awards ceremony on Saturday (November 25) in Taipei, Taiwan.

Shu Qi had the ultimate fairy tale moment wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture gown.

Do you feel this ivory colour is washing Shu Qi out?

I don’t believe so.

I think someone with blonde hair would’ve found it hard to pull this colour off, but I adore this look on Shu, especially with the additional lining which allows the embellishments to shine just as brightly as the sheer runway look.

ah…Excuse me. Could you explain what’s the “Taiwan of China”? The Golden Horse Awards is not hold by China. I believe that the Golden Horse Award is one of authoritative award in Asia. Please respect the award, don’t ruin it. If you’re afraid of China’s power, you can just write the holding place “Taiwan”. Please correct it. Thank you very much. (what’s wrong with you…sad…)

We can agree Shu Qi looked like a goddess, but no one can accept you say Taiwan is a part of China, they are different country. Stop to provide wrong information.

I’m a RCFA fan and I’m from Taiwan.
I gotta say it would sound offending to most Taiwanese when you say “Taipei, Taiwan of China”.
Please avoid any kind of political statements so we could all enjoy this reading experience.
    Thanks.

Shu Qi is my all time favorite screen beauty, and this Elie Saab golden embroidered plunging gown just solidifies her status as our red carpet queen!! It might be reminiscent to her Roberto Cavalli lace gown at the same event last year, but this golden princess moment suits her perfectly as she was nominated in Best Actress category for her role in “The Village of No Return”, so hands down she looks PHENOMENAL as always!!

Lovely. It doesn’t wash her out, its not overlong and the neckline is interesting. A pretty look.

Wow – love this!!! She looks radiant and ethereal. The unusual bodice elevates it above a standard princess gown.

it’s lovely. I think we have now seen too many similar dresses from Elie Saab, so i personally do not have this wow reaction, but nonetheless it’s a great look.

Typical Elie Saab. Nothing new. The lining keeps the embroidery from being appreciated imo.

It’s better than walking around with your panties showing for all the world to see.
