Louis Vuitton Celebrates GingerNutz in Vogue’s December Issue

Louis Vuitton celebrated GingerNutz in Vogue’s December Issue on Tuesday (November 21) in London, with cover star Adwoa Aboah and a few of the Brit pack.

Jenna Coleman: While the actress’ style is perhaps pigeon-holed in the Erdem and Emilia Wickstead dainty dresses category, Jenna showed that she could hang with a fashion daredevils like Ruth Negga at this event. While there isn’t anything fashion forward about her look, it’s refreshing to see her try something new in Louis Vuitton Resort 2018. I’m lusting after her boots btw.

Ruth Negga: Attending her fourth LV event in a row, the British actress appears to be very much part of the LV family. You may be unsure about the Emma Stone / LV union, but Ruth’s innate cool-girl style feels like the perfect fit. I want to beg, borrow and steal (especially that embroidered jacket) this Louis Vuitton Spring 2018 outfit.

Naomie Harris: Like Sonam Kapoor earlier, there is a refreshing elegance to Naomie’s sartorial style. It always feels effortless like on this occasion, with the accessories complimenting rather than overwhelming her Resort 2018 look.

Adwoa Aboah: The cover is quite the fashion chameleon – a prerequisite to her job – but she kept things surprisingly simple it this LV LBD.

I love to see Ruth Negga, really don’t care who she’s wearing.

Hi FC, really huge fan of the site, but just had to point out that Ruth Negga is not from Britain. It’s disappointing to see, when it has been written a few times and pointed out already.

It is helpful for readers to know where the people featured are from, as you feature such an excellent array of international stars, but to do this it is important that the nationality is correctly identified. Thanks x

I am sorry but wasn’t she born in Ireland? I know she is half Irish and half Ethiopian.

Born in Ethiopia and raised in Ireland, yes. She identifies as both nationalities, not British.

    I really like Naomie’s look.

Apart from Adowa’s dress but I’m not in a rush to buy the swashbuckling themed clothes but I do think the ladies are pulling off these looks.

Those boots on Naomie look completely out of place, too bad b/c with the right shoes she would’ve looked perfect. Ruth can totally sell it all with her presence and attitude, but the outfit is way too “packed” and busy with different elements, you don’t know where to look.

I think so far, Ruth is the only one who has made me appreciate LV’s clothes. I don’t think a lot of people can pull his creations off but she manages to do so. Adele Extrapopulous (sic) pulls them off too. But that’s about it for me.

    Ugh. More ugly LV clothes.
