2017 American Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more music lovers who joined Ciara, Selena Gomez and Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA.

Bebe Rexha: You’ll be forgiven if you thought Bebe was Kim Kardashian in this black August Getty Atelier Spring 2018 Swarovski crystal strapless dress. The resemblance is uncanny.

Heidi Klum: The ‘Project Runway’ host went back into the archives to unearth this gorgeous vintage Versace gown.

Jenna Dewan Tatum: When it comes to the archetypal music awards dresses, Jenna totally nailed it with her custom Julien Macdonald gold embellished look. John Hardy jewels added yet more shine.

Sadie Sink: I love the detailing on Sadie’s nude Prada dress. It’s perfectly in tune with the event, and doesn’t wash her out.

Madelaine Petsch: The actress wore a bewitching Fabiana Milazzo dress which I love for the many textures and her impeccable styling which included Loriblu heels, an Emm Kuo clutch, plus a selection of jewels from Joelle, Djula and Gilan.

Camila Mendes: Joining the likes of Lea Michele and Demi Lovato who went the romantic route, the young actress wore a pretty J. Mendel Spring 2018 halter gown.

Laura Marano: The starlet wore slinky red sequin Stella McCartney ‘Bernice’ dress we recently saw on Maika Monroe.

Lili Reinhart: The actress’ Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2018 gown was pretty and ever so graceful, but kinda felt the most out of sync with the event.  Le Vian amethyst studs completed her look.

Kathryn Hahn: Bringing a shot of citrus to this red carpet, Kathryn was radiant in her Greta Constantine Spring 2018 orange gown.

Kelly Clarkson: The singer looked great in her custom Christian Siriano gown, but the hair and makeup really lets her down.

Rachel Platten: This Thai Nguyen Atelier Pre-Fall 2017 jumpsuit was easily my least favourite of this event.

Kehlani: This Amen Fall 2017 dress has it all. Chains, overt sex appeal and rocker edge. I kinda wish Pink would rock something like this – not so sheer – instead of those tiered poufy gowns.

I like Heidi and while Jenna looks good, it feels a tad overdressed for the event.

I agree on the 3rd row.

Kim Kardashian West has entirely too much influence in what women are wearing and that is a sad state of affairs. Exhibit No. 1 is Bebe Rexha. The last row is a mess. Jenna and the second and third rows look good. I especially like Laura (simply but well done) and Madelaine though I do wish the sheer portion began a bit lower on her thigh.

Bebe looks so Kardashian inspired its ridiculous!

I really like Heidi (esp on TV), Jenna, and Laura.

The third row looks good, especially Lili.
Also nice to see Kathryn in some color, I feel like she usually always wears black.

The first and last three are seriously awful, especially that Kim Kardashian wannabe. The third row is fabulous especially the Stella and Cushnie dresses.

My favorites here would be Heidi and the 3rd row.
