Tracee Ellis Ross In Prabal Gurung – 2017 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross made a bold statement in red at Glamour’s 2017 Women of The Year Awards on Monday (November 13) in Brooklyn, New York, joining Halle Bailey and Chloe Bailey and Nicole Kidman.

The ‘Black-ish’ star was clad in a Prabal Gurung Spring 2018 ensemble. I can see some wanting to compare it to the red dancer emoji, but, to me, the cut of the dress had a cooler fashion-forward edge thanks to the reflective fabric and its silhouette.

I love how the look had fantastic movement with the softness of the draped sleeves continuing down to the asymmetrical ruffles.

The ab cut-outs and draping of the skirt showed off some skin, while providing a wonderful contrast to the ruffles.

Red Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps lent a cohesive finish while drop earrings played off the frock’s shine.

Like this more than first seen in Best Dressed lineup. It’s cool, definitely a not trying too hard look.

I love everything but the fabric. Color, hair, silhouette. But, trash bag.

Horrid. I might be the only one here who will not ever understand her fashion sense.

+1 nope. I don’t get the excitement about her fashion sense either.

i seem to be in the minority, but i actually like it. The colour is lovely and she wears it well. Love the red lipstick.

    Trash bag couture.

Love the color, hair and make up but the dress itself is just ugly.

The dress looks like a trash bag, a fancy one, but still a trash bag.
    Love her hair and make-up.

I love Tracee Ellis Ross but this is a no on every level except for the color. I have not been feeling this Prabal Gurung collection but this one is the worst so far. It looks like the dress got caught in a shredded. That being said, I love Tracee’s beauty look and hair.
