Michelle Monaghan In Paco Rabanne – 2017 CMA Awards

Voluminous, richly coloured gowns were a fixture at the 2017 CMA Awards on Wednesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tennessee, but Michelle Monaghan brought some sizzling sex appeal in a jumpsuit.

Clad in Paco Rabanne Spring 2018, the actress shimmered on the red carpet thanks to the embellished black piece.

There were details abound in the design as the jumpsuit had an asymmetrical neckline which merged into a sultry side cut-out. Ring on the hip and shoulder added more sexiness and a graphic quality to the look.

Not to be missed were the stirrup pants which I think might break the look for some. I’m not bothered by them as the entire ensemble reads sleek and sexy. Eva Fehren jewels and Stella Luna shoes heightened the effect.

This is one CMA Awards outfit that will definitely stick in my mind.

Unlike most, I love this look. Very feminine and a tad edgy.

I think plain leather pumps would have been better but I love the jumpsuit, she totally pulled it off in a classy way. On someone else this would be beyond tacky.

I don’t love it but I appreciate her doing something different. Like JHH mentioned, the proportions are not the most flattering but I can’t hate it.

Why are people who have nothing to do with country at this Award show for country music?!?! Lmao. So random.

I prefer to see this as a performance piece

This is so unflattering. Her torso looks extremely long and her legs look short (same as a model). Surely, that is not a look that anyone deliberately goes for outside of a costume drama.

I love edgy looks like this. I’m not sure if it’s right for the event, but I appreciate her efforts to be different and the overall feel and idea of the look. She certainly looks cool and relaxed in what’s a very tricky piece to pull off.

She definitely veered left. Can’t say I’m fond of this mix up.

Wowwwwww very unexpected from Michelle, I wish she did something different on her hair, like a sleek ponytail. She gets the “Stepping out of the box Award” here.

O my goodness. That is so so bad! Now that is one ugly jumpsuit. The stirrups, the tightness, the cutouts, the shoes….Oi.

This is a Cara not Michelle look. I really dislike the stirrup pants; they make her legs look really short
Overall, the look still makes a lasting impression given how different and unusual it is

Weird design but I think she makes this work.

I did not see that one coming! I’m a bit on the fence with this… I don’t love it but I’ll give her extra points for trying something else.

I actually hate everything about this look.
