Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

There were lots of striking outfits at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 in London, England on Thursday (November 2).

Arizona Muse: Proving black isn’t boring, the model presented a glamorous finish in Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture. The plunging neckline was decorated with a myriad of rhinestones mimicking a statement necklace. A high slit provided some relief to the ornate front and long sleeves.

Georgia May Jagger: The model wore The Vampire’s Wife Cate dress. The inky mini was emboldened with a metallic blue floral detail and delicate frills. She brought out the blue tones with her clutch and makeup, while the vertiginous black sandals enhanced her pins and the dress’s short hemline.

Natasha Poly: Clad in Vivienne Westwood Couture, the Russian model looked ravishing in the jewel tone floral sequin corseted mini dress, with nude underskirt. Some might wish the under layer wasn’t visible, but the surprise detail enhanced the lighter tones in the outer layer while balancing the thicker shoulder band.

Ashley Graham: The model struck a pose in a sheer Marina Rinaldi dress. The short-sleeved style was decorated with dynamic bands of shimmering trim that created a striking finish. Some will be fatigued at the sight of another sheer dress, but the details on this one are intriguing. My only wish is that the thicker white banding on the top was reversed with the one on the hips as I think it would have benefited from a more exposed neckline.

Sam Smith: The ‘Thrill Of It All’ singer looked dapper in a deep green suit. He gave the slim style a retro feel thanks to this dark patterned shirt and the chunky black shoes. The resulting look shows you can still inject plenty of personality into a suit.

Adwoa Aboah: The British model mixed and matched to full effect in a Coach Spring 2018 ensemble. The vintage-inspired dress was contrasted with a cropped bomber jacket. The jeweled shoes added a festive party touch while bringing out the different shades in the pieces. It’s a shame about the creases because this was such a fun look.

Erin O’Connor: The model charmed in an Erdem Resort dress which evoked the designer’s signature dark glamour. The Roksanda bag was in keeping with the mood plus it played up the blue blooms speckled on the dress. The handbag’s shape was also a strong contrast to the soft lines of the gown.

Victoria Beckham: The designer certainly has mastered her own brand of minimalist elegance. Clad in her own designs, she opted for a high-necked white blouse which had a Victorian touch. When paired with the ecru trousers, the look exuded effortless glamour.
