Heidi Klum In Vionnet – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

I was relieved not to have had to roll my eyes when seeing Heidi Klum on the red carpet for the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

The model shelved the revealing Dundas, Cavalli dresses she usually reaches for, in favour of something more contemporary.

Her jumpsuit from Vionnet’s Spring 2018 collection which imbued a touch of sex appeal via the sheer panel, was simply styled with stud earrings.

Do you love this refreshing look from Heidi, or do you find yourself objecting to the sheer panel?

She changed stylists I think. She’s with Mariel and Rob now. I don’t know whether she was already with them or not but I don’t think so. This is indeed different for her and pretty cool and fashionable.

Did she change before or after AGT? Cause her outfits for that were horrendous.

It was definitely after that. I think the first they styled on Heidi was the Ralph & Russo from the amFAR Gala a few days back. They style JLo, Cara, Lily Collins, Hailee Steinfeld, Gwen Stefani, Rachel McAdams and more so this will definitely be good for Heidi.

So glad to see her in not in something tacky or try hard. She looks great, in a quite mature, sophisticated way.

+1 Agreed. Best she has looked in ages.

Indeed this is a change of pace for Heidi who is usually in a near naked dress. That said, I shouldn’t be seeing the pocket lining through the pants. It’s meh to me.

    • Maria F. October 24, 2017 at 14:35 #

i agree. The pocket lining is so distracting and ruins a great look. Makes me wonder if this was an intentional decision by the designer or just sloppy?

        Sloppy.

I don’t think that in this case the sheer panel is tacky at all. It’s sexy, but the look is fresh and modern. I love her styling, especially the hair. Best look that I’ve seen from her in a while!

I agree that it’s a nice change of pace and one that was sorely needed for Heidi but I don’t understand the “objection to the sheer panel” – it’s not as if she was the one who designed the look.

I’m perfectly fine with the sheer panel.

FC did not mean it that way! The jumpsuit is very modern and current for Heidi, but for some the sheer panel might be a bit tacky, or try-hard!

Heidi looks great, it’s a nice change of pace for her!
