11th Annual God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards

Femmes came out in force for the 11th Annual God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards on Monday (October 16) in New York City. As Michael Kors was one of the co-chairs, there were a number of looks from the designer in the house.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Receiving the Michael Kors Award for Outstanding Community Service, the minimalist-loving actress upped the shine quotient in her sparkly Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 sequin frock—and even gave us a rare look at wavy locks. You may remember seeing this dress on the Red Carpet Wish List for Michelle Pfeiffer.

Gabrielle Union: This Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 suiting offered up a safari-chic twist on the menswear-inspired trend.

Kate Hudson: Oozing with pure and simple seduction, this custom crimson beaded asymmetrical Michael Kors Collection dress was a knockout on Kate. She really didn’t even need the contrast of the Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch to accessorize, as I love the way her nude pumps vanished from view and left her dress to take top billing.

Emily Robinson: The starlet dressed up this plaid Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 frock with an Atelier Swarovski clutch, John Hardy jewels, and equally sparkling sandals.

Maggie Gyllenhaal: I would have liked to have seen the trippy, sunny flowers of this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 maxi dress stand alone—sans the contrasting floral jacket, as it was perhaps a bit too much bold flower power.

Lola Kirke: The silvery-graphite palette of this quietly elegant Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 dress had me wishing for a darker shoe to complement her black Pearl snakeskin clutch from the MICHAEL Michael Kors Spring 2018 collection.

Hilary Rhoda: Always in top polished form, the model showed off her signature brand of sexy sophistication in this Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 dress styled with a MICHAEL Michael Kors black Pearl embossed-leather clutch. I love this update on classic animal print.

Serayah: Serayah also relied on graphic floral patterning for her Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 midriff ensemble that was perhaps a teeny bit small up top. Her long braid and statement earrings brought a fun finish to the look.

Harley Viera-Newton: The chipper, girly spirit of this sweet, canary-yellow Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 frock brought a smile to my face.

Joan Smalls: The model added a dramatic edge to this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 ensemble with her sleek ’do and statement makeup.

Amber Valletta: No ordinary LBDs here, as Amber’s Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 dress was ready to party with sequins and fringe. Eva Fehren jewels rounded out the look.

Jourdan Dunn: The model shimmered in this golden Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 frock that, despite its loosely languid draping, served up a high-impact effect. I would have opted for a sandal, instead.

Jessica Hart: The strength of this Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 look came from the juxtaposition of the flowy blouse with the glossy silver, bell-shaped trousers for a modern twist on retro style.

Ashley Graham: Despite its monochromatic hues, spring had sprung anew in this Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 palm frond-printed skirt, styled with a tank and Eva Fehren jewels.

Jasmine Tookes: Speaking of retro influences, they were alive and well in this metallic Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 jumpsuit that I loved for its effortless appeal—complemented by Jasmine’s sleek styling.

Romee Strijd: This Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 LBD celebrated the sexy, silhouette-enhancing power of ruching, topped off by the playfulness of the wide belt.

Lais Ribeiro: The feminine flair of the ruffle hem is what gave this Michael Kors Collection Pre-Fall 2017 dress its added boost of attitude, with a MICHAEL Michael Kors Elsie calf hair clutch and minimal sandals polishing it off.

Alexandra Richards: I like the chic, unforced quality of her Michael Kors Collection Fall 2017 dress paired with a MICHAEL Michael Kors clutch. The fit of the op half did seem slightly too big, though—even by its purposely loose standards.
