Anna Chlumsky In Christian Siriano – 2017 Metropolitan Opera Opening Night

Anna Chlumsky attended the 2017 Metropolitan Opera Opening Night on Monday (September 25) in New York City.

The ‘Veep’ actress looked stunning wearing a Christian Siriano peplum gown.

I love the structure and the broken glass effect of the sheer panels to ensure this piece possessed plenty of drama for the event.

My only wish is that the silver Tyler Ellis embellished clutch had been a bit smaller, or she hadn’t carried it at all.

Monica Vinader jewels completed her look.

The styling is absolutely wrong, especially the beauty look. I actually don’t think that one would be right in any situation that isn’t a costume event, and even there it’s debatable.
I don’t particularly like the silhouette of this dress, but I think with a lot more finesse in the styling department I could’ve liked it.
This look gets an overall No from me.

I actually really like this! I love the cut-outs and I think she looks chic and fashion forward. I don’t love her eyeliner and agree with FC about the clutch. But overall, I like this 🙂

I’m on the fence about this.

I love the idea of this, but the presentation and execution are bad.

    Interesting dress but bad makeup.

The broken glass effect and the silhouette are actually better than the Dior’s yesterday and this chap has less than 10 years in fashion. That speaks volumes.
The make up is a bit harsh and not evenly done, I think.

I don’t really like the dress but it works on her.
The make up is awful and this hairstyle doesn’t suit her.

+1 … that lipstick is terrible.

i like this dress a lot. At least it is a different take on see through.

I personally find the lip colour a bit too garish, but at least she went for it.

Wow! This is a personal best for her, and the lip color is divine.
