Front Row @ Giorgio Armani Spring 2018

The front row of the Giorgio Armani Spring 2018 show on Friday (September 22) during Milan Fashion Week paid homage to the designer’s impeccable tailoring with suiting reigning supreme.

Amber Valletta: The model demonstrated suiting needn’t be stuffy with a grey one-button jacket and coordinating wide-leg trousers. Round-toe shoes echoed the relaxed fit of the grey suit. Although, I find myself missing a pointed-toe.

Princess Charlene of Monaco: Making another appearance at Milan Fashion Week, the Princess exuded elegance in shades of grey. A wrap top and cuffed trousers were topped with a dove grey trench. Warm grey accessories dabbled with different textures completed the outfit. It’s a shame about the creases on the pants, because this is neutrals and layering at their best.

Cate Blanchett:
The longtime Giorgio Armani fan and campaign star brought some colour to the FROW with her burgundy and white dogstooth pantsuit and coordinating checkerboard shirt. There are so many striking elements in the ensemble from the jacket’s structured shoulders to the witch-y boots, but my eyes are drawn to the quirky round glasses with statement brow bar.
