Phoebe Waller-Bridge In Sies Marjan – ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ World Premiere

Making an enchanting entrance in soft shades, Phoebe Waller-Bridge attended the ‘Goodbye Christopher Robin’ world premiere on Wednesday (September 20) in London.

The actress donned a Sies Marjan Fall 2017 ensemble with an asymmetrical beige bodice and a white and peach skirt. I am happy that she posed in such a way to give the dress some movement because this was a look that I wanted to see in motion.

V-cut black heels and a coordinating clutch grounded the lightweight layering of the frock, but the dark colours came off as a bit stark. A lighter shade or a sandal would have been my first choice.

    What a mess…

I think if they’d actually done something with her hair this would have added a lot of finesse. This is how I’d have tied my hair back on an average schoolday. It just looks like a flat, lazy ass ‘pull it back’ style.

The is too tight for the look and so this does not work.

The dress isn’t working irl and the black accessories really don’t make any sense.

Why one needs “to ground” a look ? When did the trend start ? And what that does even mean ? Why one cannot go “floating on an invisible/ super delicate/strapless / whatever you want fill here pair of sandals ? All rethorical questions. Thks

Lol. Floating… The thing is, a more delicate pair of sandals would’ve looked better here, and the rest is indeed rhetoric…

I really can’t understand why stylists want to ground a woman. Let her fly !

        • Schoolbea September 21, 2017 at 20:32 #

I thought of the phrase “flying on a pair of nudists” and I’m laughing here all alone in front of my phone.

I don’t think the top part falls on her as well as it does in the look book. The shoes are wrong too
