Rihanna In Molly Goddard – ‘FENTY Beauty’ By Rihanna Harvey Nichols Launch

‘Fenty Beauty’ by Rihanna, which includes 40 different shades of foundation, giving it one of the most diverse colour ranges on the market, has already been a huge success, so Rihanna celebrated with a party at Harvey Nichols in London this evening (September 19).

Naughty-meets-nice as bad girl RiRi opted for the familiar tulle A-line dresses by Molly Goddard for her red carpet look.

The designer has based her brand on ‘girliness’, which this lilac dress imbues, but some might not be excited by the juxtaposition.

After a run of tent-style dresses, I was instantly charmed by the whimsical nature of this dress.

It’s great to see Rihanna having fun with fashion again.  You may remember her green Molly Goddard dress worn last year.

Chopard jewels and custom-made René Caovilla lavender snake sandals completed her look.

the main problem about this look is that it’s not very Polished for her grand event, her hair is messy and the dress is Blah, all those jewels are not helping.

She looks like a 5 yr old! Horrendous!!
That dress is a halloween costume. And those dumb shoes just ridiculous.
She is such a gorgeous woman, face and hair….I dont understand what her fashion thinking is lately.
That bauble on her neck looks pretty awesome though.

    She looks gorgeous!

Love the hair and make up

Torn about this look. It’s slightly better (aka a non-tent look) than what she has been wearing recently, and I like the colour, but like Ana said, it’s basically a frilly dress with strappy sandals yet again. Just a better one. The styling cheapens it and surprisingly, I don’t like the makeup. The foundation is too yellow-toned for her and slightly off.

She looks cute but I’m sick to death of these shoes

Incredibly unflattering. I don’t even like the colour. The styling is also really odd for this piece, it looks as if she were playing dress-up.

I don’t look forward to her appearances anymore, worst case of lost mojo I’ve seen in a while.

Rihanna used to be one of my favourites on the red carpet, because like it or not, it was always out there and unexpected. But currently it is just not the same. The hair is never really flattering and often cheap looking and the outfits look cheap instead of cool and fashion forward.

I wonder if she has a new stylist? Very disappointing.

Love the colour of the dress, not so much the style. LOVE HER HAIR AND MAKEUP!!!

It’s girly and approachable and not an unflattering mess as some of her outfits have been.

  10. Eni September 20, 2017 at 05:54 #

    This is just ridiculous. Again…

she loves those sandals eh….the jewels aren’t really working for me. her hair makeup is perfect as per usual.

Classic Riri. Also, those shoes are laced-up to the MAX. Looks painful haha

Could we please sign a petition for Rihanna to stop wearing the gladiator sandals?

  14. meme September 20, 2017 at 00:55 #

ugh. Rhianna has lost her style mojo. that dress is so unflattering and those sandals are hideous.

    God no.

I am a bit tired of the custom-made sandals that twine tightly up her leg. I like the dress though it feels a bit twee but this so much better than her most recent looks that I give this a thumbs up.

    • Leandra September 20, 2017 at 00:39 #

Me too. This is a bit of a refresh comparing with her late outings. Lovely colour.

    • Alina September 20, 2017 at 08:21 #

I agree. It’s nothing spectacular, but it’s better than recent messes.

  17. Ana September 19, 2017 at 23:44 #

A frilly dress and strappy sandals AGAIN?
