Emma Stone In Louis Vuitton – ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ LA Premiere

Emma Stone was back on the red carpet for the premiere of ‘Battle Of The Sexes’ on Saturday (September 16) in Westwood, California.

We’ve seen Emma go from slinky in Tom Ford to this contemporary number from Louis Vuitton’s Resort 2018 collection.

I’m not sure this will go down well with the majority, but I think this combo manages to deliver sophisticated, polished vibes, as the dress shirt manages to temper the flamboyant mood of the shimmery blazer.

Did Emma ace this look for you, or did she serve up a double fault?

me too. And somehow her icy blonde hair works very well here

  5. Christine September 18, 2017 at 01:37 #

    This is boring and fug.

One of the rare occasion of a good LV look.

The jacket is fun but the dress shirt bottom is awful.

I don’t really understand the look

    BDOTW for sure!

I think this is really cool, chic and original. I agree that the fit of the blazer is truly impeccable. Can’t fault it. Maybe a silver or black sandal, but I’m nit-picking.

It works, she looks good, but I still think she can do better.

The fit of the jacket is impeccable. Just about the only thing I don’t like about this dress
/blazer combination is the extra length of ribbon on one side. Her hair color is absolutely not helping any of Emma’s recent looks. I think I would have preferred a non-metallic shoe but that is a quibble.

This is literally the first LV look that I love. The modification had a lot to do with it plus Emma’s styling sold the whole thing for me. I still hate her shade of blonde though 🙁

It’s kind of an underwhelming look for a premiere, but I’m also warming up to the hair color. It just needs to be styled carefully, I think, and she needs to avoid the reddish makeup that can throw off her complexion.

She ilooks ravishing. Chic, elegant, uber ferminine and a bit edgy. Nicolas is years ahead of many other designers, and tendencies ( some times 10 year ahead). He is a trend setter. you have to get used with his avant gardism to truly appreciate the work.. Tjhere must be more to be apreciate in fasjion than little sparkly dresses.

sorry for the misspelings. Was a bit tipsy .

      • Schoolbea September 17, 2017 at 23:36 #

Imagining you all excited about fashion and about Nicolas Ghesquière like, “I need to comment here, NOW”. Lol.

I think this is the first Louis Vuitton I love in ages!!!! 🙂

      +1

I actually like the blonde hair. I think this look is really fun.

  18. Caroline September 17, 2017 at 17:08 #

Oh no, this is disastrous to me, the colors look terrible against her skin, especially with her platinum blonde. The design is a mess, too many things going on, what is the idea? and the fabric is horrible. Her style is very inconsistent to me.

  19. Thomas Monks September 17, 2017 at 16:22 #

I am definitely about this. I am still not feeling her with the blonde hair, I have never really liked her as a blonde, but the look is great. If she had her red hair we would be lauding this as an amazing look for her.

    • Leandra September 17, 2017 at 18:28 #

but you can ignore the blonde and aprreciate the rest.

    • Maria F. September 17, 2017 at 21:53 #

I agree that this would have been a knock out with her red hair.

  20. Chris September 17, 2017 at 16:13 #

I LOVE this. It’s very interesting and unlike her Tiff look, this one works head to toe for me.

    • Leandra September 17, 2017 at 18:29 #

      me too.

  21. Amby September 17, 2017 at 15:55 #

Only loving this look from the waist up. Not diggin’ the dress 🙁

  22. Charlotte September 17, 2017 at 15:34 #

Once again I think the color of this looks is not good on her. With her skin tone and her hair, she needs more vibrant colors.
