Kate Mara In David Koma – ‘Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Kate Mara was joined by her Dior Homme-clad husband Jamie Bell for the Toronto Film Festival premiere of ‘Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool’ on Tuesday (September 12).

Upon seeing the actress in her David Koma Fall 2017 mesh dress, I wanted to facetime her long-time stylist Johnny Wujek and give him a virtual high-five for nailing the lining of this dress, because lord knows we would’ve rolled our eyes had she stepped out in the runway version of this look.

David Koma doesn’t really do dainty, but with the modifications and Kate’s styling she gave this look a new lease of life.

Silver Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ pumps completed her look.

Her waist looks tiny and the lining was a good choice but overall I don’t think this dress looks that great on Kate. Above the waist, it is just not flattering.

    It’s just ok.

Again, there must be more to life than A line mini dresses. That’s all she wears. With some pointy pumps. Can she switch it up at least once?

Omg, couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw a link to RCFA. Although I’m quite late with “welcome back” congratulations I’m still happy that my favorite site is back. You are the best, Catherine.

I had the same feeling. Im sure I wore a dress like this one when I was 4yo.
But somehow she got the job done, nothing memorable.

Not sure about the styling, especially the hairstyle and clutch, but this really gets all the kudos for the amazing lining! Like, this is how you do it, a perfect example. Also, the dress is pretty cool and original.
