Octavia Spencer In Tadashi Shoji – ‘The Shape Of Water’ Toronto Film Festival Promo
It’s been a busy Toronto Film Festival for Octavia Spencer, but one thing that’s been consistent is her designer: Tadashi Shoji.
Like Venice Film Festival, the New York based designer hooked his favourite girl up in a selection of gorgeous pieces.
IMDb Studio: As Octavia tends to opt for darker hues, this sunny Tadashi Shoji top really brightened my day. I would love her to branch out and try more colours in the future as well as those fun animal print shoes. The look was styled with a L’Dezen sliced diamond ring.
Fox Searchlight TIFF Party: Quickly reverting back to those deep dark hues she loves, this floral dress felt so fresh and vibrant. I didn’t get that same feeling from the navy dress she wore during Venice. She styled this look with deep blue velvet Jimmy Choo ‘Holly’ platforms which evoked the unbridled glamour of the ’70s.
‘The Shape Of Water’ Premiere: Her final look was beautiful. For Toronto Film Festival, cocktail dresses work within the more relaxed environment. So you’ll get no complaints from this time around about he off-the-shoulder peplum number. I love how this look benefits from the sleek styling which included Steve Madden ‘Slithur’ shoes which I also own in yellow…naturally.
