Angelina Jolie In Ralph & Russo – ‘First They Killed My Father’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

After her all-white outing, it was back to signature black for Angelina Jolie’s second red carpet appearance during Toronto Film Festival, for the world premiere of Netflix’s Film’s ‘First They Killed My Father’ on Monday (September 11).

The actress wore a Ralph & Russo dress crafted from satin and styled with one batwing sleeve and elegant bow detail, which hails from the designers first ready-to-wear collection which will be showcased during London Fashion Week.

I love how the asymmetrical hemline adds to the proportion play, while minimal fuss allowed for versatility when styling.

I’m sure many of you would’ve hoped that she would recreate her classic her noir and emerald moment from the 2009 Oscars, however, she selected Samer Halimeh asscher cut diamond drop earrings, plus Ralph & Russo’s classic ‘Empire’ black pumps along with their signature ‘Alina’ clutch.

Beautiful, but would have preferred it with other shoes. Not likely from her though!

Pretty shocked at the unwarranted criticism – seems pretty harsh bordering on down-right mean. I think her dress is classy, drapes beautifully and looks lovely on her.

I love it. Can’t say I am a big fan of her but she does have a very minimal approach to fashion that I find beautiful.

Another good one! Doesn’t reinvent the fashion wheel, but I like it! I ADORE the clutch!

Three exclamation marks in as many sentences, oh dear, it must have taken me quite by storm, this one.

Her face looks even more stunning than usual lately. In a healthier/happier state I think.
The dress is fine. Appropriate. Love the earrings.

Angelina looks ethereally beautiful. I love the dress on her – it is perfectly her style. She’s my new BDOTW!

I can’t get over how bad her boob job is. They’re like two rocks stuck to her chest. Call Botched, girl.

    • meme September 12, 2017 at 14:55 #

      +1 bullet boobs

    • J. September 12, 2017 at 18:20 #

Now that’s some real sensibility. She had a “boob job” (as you call it) due to a disease that kills millions of women a year around the world. Show some respect and keep your opinion to yourself the next time.

And it is even more shocking coming from a woman. Bravo

    • Maya September 12, 2017 at 23:00 #

I don’t think this was appropriate given the context either. She didn’t have a deep cleavage either so there was really no need for your comment at all.

I had a drink in my hands as I as reading this and almost drop it, maybe you didn’t know the reason for her ‘boob job’ as you called it, but c’om let’s be more sensitive with each other.

Angie looks great IMO, I don’t get other comments saying she has a botoxed face, again more sensibility please.

    Boring

it is not bad, but also not spectacular. Eh.

  11. Chris September 12, 2017 at 10:25 #

    I like it!

This hairstyle that she favours so much ages her a lot, I think. And the dress and styling are not doing much for her, either, apart from a generic elegance that I suppose is appropriate for the occasion. Not excited in the least, but there’s nothing wrong in my book…

I think she looks beautiful? I’m not seeing a botoxed face and she’s not any thinner other Hollywood stars. I like the dress and overall look too. Very chic and elegant and works perfectly for her style.

Nothing groundbreaking, but much better than the Givenchy.

I love the shoes, dress and bag.

  17. Boy September 12, 2017 at 02:27 #

Yup, I love this. It’s grown-up and elegant, perfect for presenting the movie as a director, and just feels like classic Angie.

  18. Meme September 12, 2017 at 02:27 #

So now she’s back to black? Way too much fake eyelashes and Botox. I can’t with her.
