Rachel Weisz In Dolce & Gabbana & Rachel McAdams In Elie Saab – ‘Disobedience’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

The ‘Disobedience’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Sunday (September 10) presented differing romantic lace ensembles courtesy of Rachel Weisz and Rachel McAdams.

Rachel Weisz: Offering an elegant version of lace, the actress was dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana dress. The gown with elbow-length sleeves was banded with crisscrossing black lace. Although it was still head-turning, it was a different take on Dolce & Gabbana’s typical maximalist embellishment. Rachel’s sleek bob and diminutive drop earrings lent an air of timeless sophistication to the two-tone gown.

Rachel McAdams: Dressed in ethereal mint ruffles, the other Rachel opted for the lingerie-inspired route with her Elie Saab Resort 2018 creation. I would have expected this to be styled with a very ethereal beauty look, but enjoyed the actress’s darker pink lipstick, smudge of black eyeliner and bedhead-y waves.

I love RM’s minty lacey dress. It might have too busy ruffles detailing. But still pretty nonetheless.

Weisz looks matronly. Her look is so unflattering. Awful dress. Not liking her hairstyle either.
McAdams looks so wonderful. Light and romantic. It is so lovely!!

Don’t like Rachel W’s look. It’s not flattering at all. and I hate that hair do. On the other hand, I love Rachel M’s looks. It is absolutely stunning.

Rachel W’s dress is awful. Rachel M’s looks like a fancy schmancy nightgown.

We don’t often see Rachel McAdams on the red carpet recently due to her low-profile preferences, but when she did step out doesn’t she look AMAZING as always? This minty green Elie Saab lacy ruffled gown is such a refreshing choice from our Canadian sweetheart and she couldn’t look more beautiful if she tried!! Long live my Hollywood girl crush, Rachel McAdams literally SLAYS at everything and I’m not afraid to admit it at all!! Head to toe PERFECTION as always, well done Rachel!!

The Dolce is horrendous and unflatering in the way that widens her silhouette. She looks pregnant.
The Saab is divine. Flirty and ethereal. I love the colour as well.

Love both of these! Romantic looks indeed that work beautifully for the Rachels.

This is why I love TIFF. Venice and Cannes give us BDOTY worthy looks, but TIFF gives us diversity.
