Keira Knightley In Gucci – The 13th Annual BGC Charity Day

Representing the SMA Trust, Keira Knightley attended the BGC Charity Day today (September 11) in London.

The event honours those in the financial services who lost their lives at the World Trade Centre on September 11. All the money raised goes towards dozens of charities including the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund which helps support victims of terrorism and natural disasters.

We’ve known Keira as a Chanel and Valentino girl for so long, but I feel the historical references and vintage, ladylike silhouettes created by Alessandro Michele for Gucci suit her to a tee.

Gucci’s atypical choice of a black base for this floral print is part of what makes the luscious colours of this design truly pop, so barely teased tresses and makeup allow the dress to truly shine.

Tabitha Simmons ‘Julieta’ studded platform sandals rounded out her look.

I like the colours of the print although I probably shouldent. I get that the hair is supposed to go with the boho/country vibe of that and the brown shoes, but really it just looks like it’s been left out of the equation entirely.

I like the outfit on her, but the hair is dragging everything down.

Heck no. This is so aging! Shes aged about 30 years in this.

I only like the dress and that is the design because the flower print is hideous with the black fabric.
Also, her makeup could’ve been better and she desperately needs a haircut.
Last but not least these shoes don’t belong here. They’re too heavy and feel almost casual for such an elegant dress.

The makeup is just a little flat for me but I really like the shoes! I feel like we don’t see Kiera in this kind of platform often?
