Kirsten Dunst In Rodarte – ‘Woodshock’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

After the ‘Woodshock’ photocall at the Venice Film Festival, Kirsten Dunst was back on the red carpet on Monday evening (September 4) for premiere.

As the film marks Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s directorial debut, Kirsten naturally kept her Rodarte streak going in this Spring 2018 gown.

While I loved the boho florals of her photocall look, I was fully mesmerized by this second outing that brought the label’s unique brand of fairy-tale charms into play.

Frothy yet structured, with the cascade of tiers down the skirt, this polka-dot dress was the ultimate sartorial confection—topped off with a figure-enhancing floral bouquet applique at the waist.

Accessorised with a deep red lip for a bold contrast along with Irene Neuwirth jewels, the look was whimsically measured and equally captivating—despite its pale colour palette—while staying true to Kirsten’s unique style.

Oh my gosh, this is so good.

She looks absolutely stunning here, I am literally in awe. It’s a beautiful dress, but what makes it so mesmerizing I think is how it feels like it was made for her and she carries it with such confidence and grace that it comes to life. It looks a bit lacklustre on the runway, but on her it’s like a whole different look!
I wanted to complain a bit how her hair should be up, but it actually works well here, giving it an ethereal feel.
Might even go to my BDOTY folder.

This is so good. Rodarte really nails it sometimes. This type of dress isn’t the most easy to pull off but Kirsten is doing it . BDOTW nominee. One of my favorites looks from her ever

To me this is the best she has looked in a very long while! I don’t tend to like froth or tiered gowns but this dress looks sharp and she looks so statuesque. Very very nice!

      I agree.

So many times better than her last look! This is terrific and looks so gorgeous and interesting from all angles. THIS is what I expect from her…. not that previous mess of a dress.

Kirsten Dunst is such a stunning beauty that she doesn’t have to try s hard to look amazing. Case on point as this pale pink polka dot tiered Rodarte gown brings out the femininity and graceful poise of our Spiderman beauty. Guess what, this look reminds me of her Christian Dior pale pink number at “On The Road” Toronto Film Festival premiere back in 2012. She still looks oh-so-gorgeous as ever, SLAY KIRSTEN SLAY!!

This is how we describe an effin’ fliipin’ good, feminine, frothy frock.

      +1 lol, love it!

  19. JHH September 5, 2017 at 03:49 #

I generally hate tiered dresses but this one is working. Kirsten looks great almost like she is floating.

  20. Maya September 5, 2017 at 03:37 #

I love it! It’s really interesting that they’ve taken a frothy concept (polka dots, pink, flowers, tiers) and executed in a sharp, structured way.

    • Schoolbea September 5, 2017 at 11:19 #

I totally agree! Her natural beauty and pose do the rest. It also looks like a natural match for her.

      LOVE.

I love this. I’m normally not a huge fan of tiered dresses, but it suits her perfectly and she looks so radiant.

  22. Nat39 September 5, 2017 at 02:31 #

I like the soft romantic feel, this is beautiful.

Gorgeous. She looks so tall, i’d imagine people looking short and frumpy in tiered dresses but this looks so polished and sharp. The ruffle detail on the neckline is beautiful.
