Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge visits The White Garden at Kensington Palace in Prada

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, joined Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry on Wednesday (August 30) for a visit to The Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace in London, which has been transformed into a White Garden dedicated in the memory of Princess Diana.

On a rain soaked day I’m surprised Catherine didn’t opt for her favoured coat-dress, instead she kept things light wearing a Prada silk dress.

There are few symbols here that can’t go unnoticed here.

First the floral print in reference to the garden and secondly, the poppies representing remembrance.

The look was styled with simple nude pumps.

Dunno. I agree it is aging, but I think something can be said about how appropriate it is for this occasion. I wouldn’t have opted for more flashy shoes given where she is and what was being commemorated.
I guess it’s not so much a matter of what she’s wearing, as of how she’s wearing it in this case.

+3 … I love how they honor Princess Diana and how much her boys loved her.

I understand the symbolism of the dress with the poppies, but this looks like something an 80 year old would wear.

I own this dress and am 60 and still think I look more youthful. It’s a bit too long which is strange because I’m 5’9 and it’s not on me and she is alledgedly taller and why oh why those shoes in that dull colour. Trust me it’s a really pretty dress but as ever she sucks the life out of it . Oh, she also tied the bow wrong.

i have to agree. Maybe funkier shoes could have livened the look up a bit or a jaunty ponytail or taking the pussy bow off. Maybe taking a couple of inches off the skirt….

The fabric in itself and especially the poppies are a nice touch.

Oh no! This would be good on a 80 years old, not on her!
