Kat Graham In Attico – harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue Party

Kat Graham joined Julianne Hough for the harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue cover party with Nina Dobrev on Tuesday (August 22) in West Hollywood, California.

I have been obsessed with Attico’s Fall 2017 opulent embellishments since they hit NET-A-PORTER recently.

This sequin-soaked dress is one of the most striking looks I have seen in a while.

The simple wrap-style silhouette ensures all focus falls on the shimmering jewel-tone stripes, while black edging defines the finger-skimming sleeves and coordinating waist tie.

I just wish Kat’s main focus was all about the forcing the slit. It takes some of the shine off this look for me.

I like what she’s done with it, but it still looks like the colored bars on an old TV screen.

I like the dress and hair. Putting a waist tie on definately made it look far far better.

I like this dress on Kat, much better than on the model (on whom it looks “kaftan-ish”). Kat, on the other hand, looks sexy and working it. The shoes bring the look down though, too bulky and distracting.

I am intrigued by how the lines come across in the styling (sans belt) and pose in the lookbook. It doesn’t work for me at all on Kat. The lines look messy and the pose is way to try-hard.

I don’t hate the dress, but she’s trying too hard.

I like the look but not the pose. The dress is fun and the shoes were perfect for it.

I kind of think it would’ve been better as a simple A-line. I feel like the neckline, the tie and the slit keep the embellishments from reaching their full potential. You can’t even really see the stripes anymore.
And it calls for a neater hairstyle jmo, with everything that’s going on.

I actually really like the dress. I’m a magpie so I’m attracted to the shiny. I also like the oversized portion of it, I would wear it as is. I agree, she should have left the slit alone in the picture.

I didn’t know that they made sequined bath robes.

      Me neither. fug.

Excactly, looks like a bath robe plus I hate when they force those slits, as if they were not showing enough!
