Anna Kendrick In Fleur du Mal – ‘Scrappy Little Nobody’ Book Signing

Anna Kendrick signed copies of her book ‘Scrappy Little Nobody’ at Barnes & Noble Union Square on Saturday (August 19) in New York City.

It must have been an early start for the actress, as she opted to go in her floral print Fleur du Mal pyjamas.

Finishing the sleepwear look off with heels is a must, to keep the look polished, classy and chic, but I would’ve preferred strappy sandals over the Paul Andrew ‘Zenadia’ pumps she opted for.

Factor in the Thom Browne top handle bag and the look kinda loses its intended relaxed appeal and feels a bit force.

I actually don’t mind the pyjama trend but it needs to look relaxed and not overly styled like Anna did here.

Ugh. The pajamas in public needs to stop.

Update: hating that godawful pyjama trend more every day. Still, it is kind of working. I actually think the bag is what saves the look.
The shoes are a mystery to me as well though.

Aside from the shoes, I really like this!

    I just can’t get on board with the pyjamas-trend. I just can’t.

I can live with the bag. It’s the shoes that I don’t get. Why green?

It looks a bit too much like ACTUAL pajamas. The lookbook styling makes much more sense, with the top unbuttoned and another top underneath for a less stuffy quality. I don’t get Anna’s bag and shoes.

I think this is the look from the “pyjamas trend” that I like the most. Love the shoes and bag with it!!

The styling is all wrong, the bag and the shoes are not working with the ensemble.
