Kaitlyn Dever In Christopher Kane – Build Presents The Cast Of ‘Detroit’

Kaitlyn Dever stopped by Build Studio in New York City to join the cast of ‘Detroit’ for a discussion of the film on Tuesday (August 1).

The young starlet impressed many of us with her sophisticated, movie-star look at the world premiere last week. But, she magnified her youthful side this time out with a Christopher Kane Fall 2017 dress.

While I loved the swirl of colours within the frock, I cannot say the heavier contrast black paneling accents were my favourite.

That said, I can see why she opted to toughen up the dress with Schutz ‘Aruna’ combat boots with Eva Fehren jewels and a girly ponytail adding a softer quality for a well put-together look.

She was your Best Dressed of the Week last week, so what do you make of her latest outing?

Nothing wow, but she looks great.

I like this far far more than her red dress also. She suits it and it suits her so much better. I love her dress more than the runway version and the boots work for aesthetic.

I like this dress on her. The shoes, whilst not my choice give a youthful rebel edge.

I loved the Prada gown but she looks much more in her element wearing this. I really hate the boots though.

I’ll probably be in the minority but I like this much more than the red Prada dress. I thought she looked like a child wearing adult clothes in the Prada. This looks great and while the paneling on her dress are sort of been there done that, they are way better IMO than the paneling in the version the model wore.

I totally agree. This is fun and age-appropriate, and it has so many unexpected elements. Not that you can’t wear a classic gown at 20, but it’s good to liven things up once whenever you can.
