Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attends The Passchendaele Commemorations in Alexander McQueen

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge returned to her classically elegant sartorial march to attend a ceremony marking the centenary of the battle of Passchendaele in Ypres, Belgium on Sunday (July 30).

If this creamy white Alexander McQueen coatdress looks familiar, that’s because it’s the same look she wore two years ago.

However, here she commemorated the occasion with the red poppy pin and pearl accents. She also wore a different hat, this one from Locke, and a taupe pair of stilettos, all of which worked in concert to add a slightly different, respectful polish to the look.

We can always be sure that Catherine will carry the height of sophistication while being assuredly appropriate, and that’s exactly what she delivered here.
