Entertainment Weekly Hosts Its Annual Comic-Con Party
Along with Candice Patton, Dania Ramirez, and Tessa Thompson, there were many more starlets in attendance to celebrate as Entertainment Weekly hosted Its annual Comic-Con 2017 party on Saturday (July 22) in San Diego, California.
Willa Holland: Silky, satiny materials can be a challenge to wear on the red carpet, and some of those issues with creasing and sheen were seen in this Giorgio Armani suit. Willa styled the silvery, tuxedo-inspired look with Beladora jewels and a sexy pair of Malone Souliers ‘Robyn’ pumps.
Nathalie Emmanuel: With a strong, black-and-white graphic punch, Nathalie would not be missed in this Etro Spring 2017 wrap dress that she styled with a multi-colour belt for added impact.
Phoebe Tonkin: I actually loved seeing this Gucci Fall 2017 studded, leather mini stripped of its over-the-top runway styling. What remained was a precious, girly floral frock with plenty of edge, too.
Rose McIver: Perhaps Rose was trying to inject more casual fun into this Derek Lam 10 Crosby Resort 2018 look. But, I more so wish she had worn it as presented with the plisse skirt sitting higher on the waist for a fresh, sophisticated spirit.
Amber Stevens: Amber brought a galactic tinge to this Iro Spring 2017 vintage-floral frock, in effect combining sci-fi and sweet in one look.
Angela Sarafyan: I was just waiting for a jumpsuit moment, and Angela delivered in this Rasario design that had the same sculpted edge as her hair.
Camila Mendes: When this RED Valentino Resort 2018 was originally presented, it took on more of a sporty-youthful vibe with a Wolford Jamaika body underneath. When turned into a sultrier, party look, it was just another sheer dress that we’ve seen in excess before.
Sadie Sink: Preciously perfect for the 15-year-old starlet, this French Connection floral dress was especially charming with her fuchsia shoes.
Marie Avgeropoulos: I wish Marie had styled this darkly feminine Maria Lucia Hohan dress with a sleek bun and punchier, vibrant lip. The vamp vibes were a bit too strong with the Elvira locks and oxblood lip. Schutz Tracina pumps completed her look.
Lili Reinhart: Donning a lovely shade of powder pink from head to toe, Lili prioritized pretty over progressive style.
Halston Sage: The starlet went sleek and sexy in a body-con LBD with circular cutouts for added allure.
Odette Annable: Perhaps it was the fringed carpet effect in combination with the messy ponytail, but there was something that seemed a bit dated about this Alice McCall top and skirt—even when modernized by the metallic sandals.
