Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen & Jenny Packham – Germany Royal Visit Day 2

Continuing her royal tour of Germany on Thursday (July 20), Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended The Queen’s Birthday Party before visiting the German Cancer Research Institute.

The Queen’s Birthday Party
: Whilst in Berlin, she was party-ready in an Alexander McQueen off-the-shoulder dress styled with Simone Rocha earrings. The colour was vibrant on her, but I also loved this new casual, flowing silhouette on her; it invoked charming charisma and a bohemian spirit. Plus, those Prada wave, scalloped sandals were a far better choice with this frock than her favoured pumps of old.

German Cancer Research Institute
: Speaking of vibrant, so too was this sunny, yellow Jenny Packham design; its ladylike silhouette very much in keeping with Catherine’s go-to style. She accessorised with Oscar de la Renta earrings, an Alexander McQueen suede clutch, and Monsoon nude wedges, as an equally bright yellow sandal may have been too much to expect.

The red dress is a lovely colour but a very peculiar length and the Prada sandals do not go at all with it. The yellow dress is nice but the wedges are hideous , why didn’t she wear the Prada with this dress . As much as I want to like her outfits I never can .

“why didn’t she wear the Prada with this dress”.

If you’re in Heidelberg, you would wear the most comfortable footwear you have in your closet.

Exactly my thoughts, you don’t want to wear heels walking around Heidelberg’s old town.

    Love the first look!

I loved the first look and the second look. Even though, she is back again with these boring wedges at least she has a new colorful dress on. The first look is very flattering and youthful and she always looks great with vibrant colors.

Two nice dresses, but I can’t help feeling like she doesn’t bring anything to them.

The red McQueen is so very delightful!!

She looks radiant in the red McQueen. That silhouette is so refreshing on her! The Jenny Packham is equally pretty, but I would’ve like to see it without sleeves.

I did a post before that never showed up so I am trying again. I like the color of the first look but I am undecided on whether it is a touch too short or too long. The second look is giving off a granny’s damask sofa vibe that I am choosing to overlook because I like the color. The shoes are abysmal. If she wore different shoes, the granny’s sofa vibe would probably be defeated.

The yellow dress is cheerful, the shoes and the clutch choices are sad
