Rita Ora In Magda Butrym & ALEXACHUNG – Out In New York & The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Leaving her ’70s hippie-dippy ways in the not-so-distant past, Rita Ora stepped out again in New York City on Tuesday (July 18) before swinging by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ for a performance.

Out in New York: First up, she donned a Magda Butrym Spring 2017 high-low dress and turned it into a girly, French-inspired getup with the beret. Retro influences still remained with the Dita Collection cat-eye shades, creating a cute finish to the look, but the blinding-white sneakers just didn’t fit in—no matter how comfortable they were.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Looking radiant, she wore a pyjama-stripe pantsuit from the ALEXACHUNG Pre-Fall 2017 collection. My affinity for the loose, menswear-influenced pieces grew with Rita’s more streamlined interpretation—with the buttoned blazer sans white dress shirt.

Many of you couldn’t get on board with her ’70s show. What do you make of her latest round of looks?

The second look is not that bad.

The second outfit is slightly better than the first which is not saying much because the first looks awful on her. She looks book and the fit through her chest is very unflattering. And don’t get me started on the sneakers how bad the sneakers look and I am one who likes sneakers with the right dresses.

First look, I don´t like it. Sincerely, high-low dresses aren´t always flattering, but it depend…

I like the first look, but I agree about the sneakers. They need to go. The second look needed a shirt underneath–something in a solid color to balance out the stripes.
