‘Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets’ LA Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

The LA premiere of ‘Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets’ featured more starlets who put their space-age-style to work on the red carpet, joining sister act Cara Delevingne and Poppy Delevingne along with Kendall Jenner and Rihanna.

Skai Jackson: Like RiRi, Skai’s universe was one that was sugary and fluffy. But, this girly Marchesa Notte Resort 2018 ballet-pink frock was perfectly adorable and suitable for the young starlet.

Pauline Hoarau: Also in an Iris van Herpen masterwork like Cara, Pauline donned a technical marvel from the Spring 2017 Couture collection. I love the understated subtlety of the dress that quickly gave way to otherworldly intrigue with the tessellating pattern and sculptural dimensionality.

Sasha Luss: It may not have been as futuristic-forward as some of the other looks, but the pristine-white lines of this Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 backless column dress were impact enough. The model’s frosted, platinum hair delivered a sense of ultramodern flair, too.

Sasha Lane: I had the most trouble getting on board with Sasha’s Moschino Pre-Fall 2017 cargo dress with a tulle train. When styled with combat boots, it looks as if she had just jetted in from a battle in outer space.

Pauline Hoarau ftw, my fave at this event. Futuristic without being sheer, costume-y or obvious.

Paulines dress is just perfect! Love this whole look so much. I greatly prefer it to Caras. Its so amazing and I would put it on BDOTW.
I also love Sasha Luss’ look. Her gown is pretty and her beauty look is fantastic. Love the hair!
    The other two just no.

Yes (Pauline) – but in these warmness – how does she feel? (in Europe). I don´t like the Sasha Lane´s model AT ALL!

The bodice is a bit of a mess, but Skai is perfect – the sugary sweet look suits her impeccably. J’adore.

    • Nat39 July 18, 2017 at 17:51 #

Sasha – I like the sleekness of the gown, but practically matching the hair to the clutch??

  14. Caroline July 18, 2017 at 17:28 #

Skai looks cute and Sasha looks gorgeous and elegant.
