Queen Letizia of Spain In Giorgio Armani & Topshop – UK State Visit

Queen Letizia of Spain proved she is the reigning champion of modern regal style on day two and three of her state visit to the United Kingdom.

On Thursday she turned heads as she attended a lavish banquet at Guildhall looking so very elegant wearing a Giorgio Armani gown which draped beautifully, enhancing her slender silhouette.

Blue is most definitely her colour, choosing to accessorise her look with sapphire jewels along with a shimmering tiara. I much prefer this over her red Felipe Varela gown.

On Friday, the third and final day of their visit, King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain visited the Francis Crick Institute, before saying their goodbyes to their royal hosts at Buckingham Palace.

I was both surprised and delighted to see the Queen wearing a Topshop pleat front ’40s style skirt with an asymmetrial wrap top.

Her maroon pumps threw me off for a second, until I saw the details on her raffia clutch bag which tied things together.

I would say this was a very successful trip for the Queen of Spain.
