Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

There were a number of men who made an impression at the 2017 BET Awards in LA. But, away from that event, there were more fellows who have made an impression on the red carpet.

Chadwick Boseman: First up, Chadwick scored a style slam dunk at the 2017 NBA Awards on Monday (June 26) in New York City. This Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2017 striped suit was a seasonal, refreshing alternative to the standard-issue colours of black, navy, and charcoal. Plus, I love that he skipped the tie on this sleek dress shirt.

Filipe Valle Costa: At the premiere of FX’s ‘Snowfall,’ on Monday (June 26) in LA, Filipe looked sharp in a David Hart Fall 2017 suit styled with Cesare Pacciotti shoes and a Rolex timepiece. The festive plaid did seem a bit heavy, but he lightened the mood with his unbuttoned, white dress shirt.

Miles Brown: I’m not sure it could get any more adorable than Miles who was also at the 2017 NBA Awards. With his custom TO Collection suit, paired with Florsheim shoes, he gets major style points. He wears bold plaid and a bow tie better than men three times his age.

Drake: Also at the NBA Awards, Drake was dressed to win in a formal Tom Ford tuxe, with the creamy white dinner jacket adding a special touch.

Jared Leto: There would be no missing Jared at the premiere of ‘The Defiant Ones’ on Thursday (June 22) in Hollywood. His style was expectedly ‘defiant,’ too, with his Gucci rose-embroidered ‘Modern Future’ hoodie, ripped black jeans, and colourful high-top sneakers. Shades added the last bit of rebel edge.

Ansel Elgort: Dressing up in a Prada double-breasted suit for the ‘Baby Driver’ screening in New York City on Monday (June 26), Ansel kept things interesting with his purple dress shirt and silver tie.

Damson Idris: Joining Fillipe at the ‘Snowfall’ premiere, Damson took a casually dapper approach in a Burberry Tailoring heather grey suit by also wearing his white shirt tieless and unbuttoned at the top.

Tom Holland: At the screening for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ on Monday (June 26) in New York City, Tom looked to fall in a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello cognac suede jacket, worn over a T-shirt and denim, for a red-carpet-meets-street-style look. Tod’s shoes rounded it out.
