Jada Pinkett Smith In Sophie Theallet – 2017 NBA Awards

Following the BET Awards, Jada Pinkett Smith continued to prove she’s not one to shy away from risky fashion choices at the 2017 NBA Awards on Monday (June 26) in New York City.

Glittering in gold once again, Jada wore a Sophie Theallet Spring 2017 gown imbued with tribal elements, with its leopard embossed skirt and feather collar.

The wispy up-do softens this look and adds a feminine touch whilst the Emm Kuo ‘Joa’ clutch keeps things cohesive.

There’s so much to love about this look, but is it ticking all your boxes?

This look didn’t tick any of my boxes, not a one. Maybe if she lost the overskirt? or the collar? Nope, it is just wrong!

tune down the eye makeup a few notches, lady!
This is OK compared to her last look

I don’t want to like it, but I do! Especially the bodice & collar.

    It’s quite an ugly dress.

Nope… So many things I don’t like about this.

This is ticking none of my boxes, tbh. Dated and tacky.

This is really busy, and the two bands do not help to define her waist… Rather the opposite, in fact.

The styling is much improved from her previous look. The gold sandals, and the beauty look in particular, really compliment the dress. A for effort, if a bit overcooked.

I actually don’t mind this. Looks better on the model though.

I don’t like this. It’s sheerness overload. Maybe the top OR the skirt on its own, but not both.

    This…isn’t good.
