Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Alexander McQueen – Royal Ascot 2017

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was the epitome of gracious charm at the Royal Ascot 2017 on Tuesday (June 20).

We all know how masterfully the house of Alexander McQueen can use lace, and that was proven true again here in this floral lace frock that fit Catherine like a dream.

In addition to the fresh enchantment of the dress that was likely customized to align with the Ascot dress code, Catherine’s styling on this occasion only served to enhance the effect.

From the pink Loeffler Randall clutch, to the nude Gianvito Rossi suede heels, to the sophisticated whimsy of the complementary fascinator, all the pieces worked in concert to elevate the classic allure of the look.

You even have to smile at her name tag that spells out: HRH The Duchess of Cambridge.

This is perfection from head to toe, and in her top 5 looks. When the outfit is this beautiful I have no qualms with recreating it.

Concerning similar or even the same dresses – I love it, I think there are many people who admire it on her MAJESTY!

I think she looks absolutely lovely here.

I wished she had chosen different shoes. The nude pumps don’t really work for me. They just get a pass.
    She does look lovely though!

I just don’t get it why she wore a dress that looks identical to the one she wore last year. It makes no sense.

Just saw a picture of her mother who it turns out is wearing far more youthful and interesting shoes that would have worked far better with the dress.

    And the yawn fest continues…

She looks pretty as always, but nothing to get excited over. It would take so little for her to shock me at this point, I’m just waiting for the day she wears more than two patterns/fabrics in the same outfit.

I think this is a better version of the dress she wore to this event last year. Also, the high neck line in white lace harkens back to her wedding dress.

Two outfits in a row that I’ve liked on her.

She always looks pretty but never interesting. I wish she would take a chance now and then.

    Deja vu

      +1. Pretty, but not interesting.

She looks like a doily, and the dress looks ridiculously similar to what she wore last year. Doily redux.

      Exactly, +1

same here. I understand that she might want to dress in white or beige tones, but about chiffon or other fabrics? There must be beautiful dresses out there that are not exactly a repeat of last years.

The hat is wrong . Beige suede shoes? Pink clutch ?? styling ??? By a blind man.

    This is perfect
