2017 Women In Film Max Mara Face of the Future Award

Max Mara celebrated Zoey Deutch as the 2017 Women In Film’s Face of the Future Award recipient on Monday (June 12) in LA, where other starlets joined in the festivities—all donning their Max Mara best.

Zoey Deutch: As the guest of honour, Zoey stood out in a striking red suit that delivered sultry intrigue amidst it menswear-inspired suiting. I love the balanced juxtaposition of the outsized, long blazer with the balconette bra and high-waist pant, all topped off with tonal Lizzie Fortunato tassel earrings.

Sophia Bush: Also looking to roomy, mannish proportions, Sophia was chic in this gray suiting. The cropped effect made it relevant and her styling, including white pumps and John Hardy jewels, made it effortless.

Olivia Culpo: Olivia wears sharp, clean lines so well, and this ensemble was witness to that with the well-tailored yet feminine blouse and the precision-fit, patterned pants.

Holland Roden: Opting for a dress instead of pants, Holland wore this abstract-printed design well. However, it was her pageant updo and safe black pumps that held back the look from achieving its full potential.

Angela Sarafyan: Although the white tuxedo blazer seemed to suffer from a few fit issues about the lapels, I still liked this outfit for its crisp black-and-white mood topped off with the graphic punch of her shoes.

Bellamy Young: This LWD didn’t have quite the versatility as a little black dress, as something about the look just didn’t exactly make sense. A simplified styling approach sans the choker and ankle-tie sandals would have been a good place to start.

Jaime King: Jaime impressed in the sleek lines of this shadowy, ombre dress topped off with the style-forward structure of the black jacket atop her shoulders. I love how she brought vibrancy to the look in her metallic eye makeup and rose-pink lip.

Isabelle Fuhrman: Green was Isabelle’s colour du jour with these deep jade separates complemented by a grassy green eye shadow. It was a rather safe, mature look for the young starlet but a classic one nonetheless.
